Job Description:
1. Responding to escalation from Tier 1 teams within specified timing in order to restore service

2. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues using resources that include personal technical ability, run book, solution database, diagnostics flow charts and senior members.

3. Provide in depth application support via assorted media including telephone and online collaboration and chat tools.

4. Interact with internal teams and external 3rd party vendors to trouble shoot and resolve complex problems

5. Understand and maintain application monitoring and performance tuning tools to identify anomalies quickly.

6. Follow appropriate departmental and company procedures and policies (i.e. change control, security and auditing, release, configuration, problem and incident management).

7. Provide input to administering and maintaining all production and internal environments

8. Provide input to change control implementations, backup and roll-back plans

9. Act as a technical resource for internal and external projects

Candidate Profile:
Qualifications: BE / B.Tech

Experience:
1. 2+ years experience in an hands-on application support/ tech lead role

2. 2+ years previous experience in troubleshooting & supporting applications running on Linux.

Skills:
1. Extensive problem solving and debugging skills

2. Experience in providing services to agreed SLA’s and OLA’s

3. Experienced in Problem and Incident Management supporting a large corporation

4. Experience with working in an ITIL framework

5. Flexible in working outside of core business hours at short-notice
