Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Trainee Test Engineer focused on game testing. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of the quality assurance process and work closely with our clients to ensure high quality and smooth functionality of games across various platforms


Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough testing of game features, functionality, and performance to identify defects and ensure overall quality.
Execute test cases and test plans according to project requirements and deadlines.
Document and track bugs using designated bug tracking tools, providing detailed descriptions and steps to reproduce.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and testing reports.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to game testing methodologies and tools.
Adhere to quality assurance processes and standards to ensure consistency and efficiency in testing procedures.
Contribute to the overall improvement of the QA process by providing feedback and suggestions for enhancements.
Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the QA lead or management team.

Desired Skills:

Strong passion for gaming with extensive experience across various platforms (PC, consoles, mobile).
In-depth knowledge of multiple game genres (e.g., RPG, FPS, strategy, sports).
Proficiency with smartphones (Apple/Android) and associated technologies (AR, VR).
Strong passion for gaming and a solid understanding of game mechanics and genres.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
Familiarity with software testing principles and methodologies.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Flexibility and adaptability to learn new concepts, tools, and technologies quickly.

Type Of Employment -

The role is contractual starting with a duration of 1-2 months (duration is extended based on the individuals performance)

Shifts -

Must be flexible working in night shifts / weekend shifts.
Willing to work overtime when requested (compensated as per policy).

Interview Process:

Assessment round (Online at office premises).
Operations rounds (Face to face).
NHT (New Hire Training for 5 days and need to clear the certification)
HR discussion.
