Job Description:
1. Develop software in EDDL or other selected languages for FIELDVUE Instrument products and technologies.
2. Primary responsibilities will be software engineering for FIELDVUE EDDL development.
3. Responsibilities may include software engineering for other FIELDVUE software development technologies, as assigned. These responsibilities, while not limited to, may include engineering software utility development.
4. Develop software and product documentation in accordance with FIELDVUE engineering processes.
5. Participate in product definition activities including feature analysis and project scope analysis.
6. Perform software quality assurance testing as assigned.
7. Perform maintenance activities in addition to new product software design.
8. Perform technical support activities as assigned.
9. Review product documentation including manuals and brochures for technical accuracy. Assist with other project activities as assigned.
Candidate Profile:
Required Skills:
1. Proficiency in C\C++, C#
2. Proficiency in HTML 5, CSS, and JavaScript is desired.
3. Proficiency with object-oriented design methodology.
4. Proficiency with EDDL programming is desired.
5. Excellent software development skills in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
6. Experience with HART, Foundation Fieldbus, and Profibus technologies is desired.
