About the Role
We are looking for detail-oriented and motivated Medical Coders (Freshers) to join our growing team. The role involves reviewing medical records and assigning appropriate codes for billing and insurance purposes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Review patient medical records, doctor notes, and diagnostic reports
Assign accurate medical codes using standard coding systems (ICD/CPT/HCPCS)
Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with guidelines and regulations
Maintain confidentiality of patient information
Work closely with internal teams to resolve coding-related queries
Meet productivity and quality targets
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have completed graduation (results declared)
Minimum 60% aggregate throughout academics
Educational background in Life Sciences, such as:
B.Pharm
B.Sc (Biology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, etc.)
Other relevant healthcare/life science streams
Skills Required
Basic knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology
Good analytical and attention-to-detail skills
Strong communication and comprehension abilities
Basic computer proficiency
Compensation & Benefits
CTC: 3 LPA
Contract Duration: 1 year
Training Period: 1 month
Stipend During Training: 5,000
